In the 1950s, the Zündapp factory was opened for the production of light motorcycles. LOVT stands for future-oriented urban development in existing buildings. The former factory buildings are being renovated to the latest standards and, together with new architecture with a strong identity, a diverse ensemble is being created, based on the highest sustainability and connectivity standards and the pursuit of climate-friendly energy and operating concepts. The “grey energy” already invested will be preserved, additional new buildings will be constructed in timber using predominantly renewable resources and large parts of the inner courtyards will be unsealed and greened.
