CONNECTION

LOVT VISION heralds a new era for the Werksviertel in Rosenheimer Str., in which the former factory buildings will be transformed into a vibrant and CO2-neutral (NZEB) area. The concept is based on a respectful approach to the existing structures that are worth preserving and aims to create a creative and green meeting place for tenants, visitors and the neighborhood.

LOVT VISION ARCHITECTURE

The revitalization of the existing buildings and targeted additions in timber hybrid construction will create a lively, attractive, mixed-use campus. The individual characters of the building sections will be specifically highlighted and emphasized by different façade designs. This will also enable identity-forming addresses to be created within the campus. In the LOVT Vision, the original pitched roofs will be converted into flat roofs in order to create new living space for people and nature with the resulting green and lively area.

INVENTORY ARCHITECTURE

The grid pattern of the existing façades is largely retained and the building cubature is supplemented by a modern roof structure. The cubic and triangular structures create a clear break with the existing architecture and thus give the buildings a new appearance towards the city and the courtyards.

NEW BUILDING AS A CONNECTION

The new parts of the building are being constructed using sustainable timber hybrid construction and have their own unique appearance. The deliberately chosen playfulness by creating a three-dimensional cube structure in combination with the flanking existing buildings ensures a heterogeneous appearance, arouses curiosity and creates new and exciting perspectives.

WHEN LOVT TAKES OVER

FACADE STUDIES

Different façade concepts give the individual parts of the building their very own identity without robbing each other of their presence. The differentiated appearance of the former existing buildings and the targeted additions to the building ensemble allow the development of the site to be traced at all times and tell their very own story.

ADVENTURE LANDSCAPES

Intensive greening concepts on the roof terrace and in the inner courtyards create extraordinary meeting places. The raised garden on the glazed inner courtyard development is accessible via bridges and seating stairs and is designed as a multifunctional area for the community.
